These spiders are animated gemstones given life by magical means. ![]() Uncommon and dangerous in groups, archers should be your first target in any fight once you kill them, your hero should be able to blcok most other attacks with little trouble. Orcs come in a variety of flavours - the white-skinned orcs of Faerun are the ones skilled in archery. Gold skins are currently at odd with greenskins, so you'll do well to capitalize on their fratricide and clean up the scraps. Ah, to be an orc is simply to have pure muscle and no brains to speak of. However, gold orcs are fairly easy to chop into monster kibble, and they seem to lack the alliance with the white-skinned orcs who are well versed in archery. Orcs come in a variety of flavours, and gold-skinned orcs are the more dangerous strains in the realm of Faerun. Kill them with any means you see fit - they are prone to fight amongst their own kind, making your hero's job easier when you come in to scavenge the scraps. Weak and easily killed, the green skin orcs are the bread and butter fodder the party will run through in chapters one and two. Orcs come in a variety of flavours, and green-skinned orcs are apparently the runts of Faerun. Some are well hidden behind false walls and dark corners, but the majority of them are in high places only Zhai can reach using her jump skill. They unlock gallery art and other backstory items in the game when you fetch them and clear the stage they were found in. Secret Book - These appear to be fine leather bound spellbooks. Illius relies on spells and beside, the guy ain't using a sling (as allowed by the Basic Rules). It will add ten throwing weapons to your current total and is only available to Rannek and Zhai. Weapon Refill - This looks like a spear point. Gold gathered by one party member is split as evenly as possible between all three heroes, so feel free to grab all the gold you can find to give your heroes a leg up. Gold can be collected in single denominations and in large groups. Gold Coin - This is the archetypical currency of the fantasy world, although gem and bartar were actually more common. Try to get this item when everyone's about to die, but dropped items are usually rare and random, so you will have to use your best judgement when grabbing such items. The scroll is inscribed with a healing spell that heals the entire party to its maximum health. Healing Scroll - This rare item is found rarely from dead enemies and occasionally from treasure chests or barrels. Dark blue potions are the most potent of all potions. The general thing about these potions (besides being dropped by enemies) is that the more blue they are, the more life they restore when picked up. Health Potion - This blue and green potion is your standard health potion that refills a good portion of your life bar if picked up. Otherwise, use a suicide attack, then grab the potion quickly before it disappears. Since items expire after a short while, be sure to have a hero with no suicide attack ready to grab this potion. ![]() Hero Potion - This red potion can be mistaken for an archtypical health potion at first glance, but really fills up a hero's hero meter instantly to do a suicide attack. ![]()
